Obituary of Richard T. Humphrey

Richard T. Humphrey, at the age of 85, died Friday in the Osprey Lodge, Tavaras, FL. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Mortimer and the late Anna (McGowan) Humphrey. He served in the Air Force. He was a Middle School Principal employed by Seaford Schools, Seaford, NY. Survived by his wife: Elizabeth (Hutchings) Humphrey. Loving father of Alice Anne Humphrey, Mary Ellen Humphrey, Kathleen Dwyer & Richard M. Humphrey. Cherished grandfather of Liam Dwyer, Owen Dwyer, Julianna Humphrey & Jack Humphrey. Dear brother of Jean Cauthorn and the late Mortimer Jr., William Humphrey & Carol Pecararo. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Weigand Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at Saint Aidan's R.C. Church, 505 Willis Ave, Williston Park. Interment will be Friday in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton.
