Obituary of Joseph Alexander Crapotta

Crapotta Joseph Alexander M.D. of Manhasset Hills NY, on March 4, 2015. Beloved husband of Dina. Loving father of Dr. Charles Crapotta (Maria) & Dr. Joseph Crapotta M.D. (Linda). Cherished grandfather of Christina, Nicole, Joseph V. and Michael V. Joseph was a graduate of Boys High School, did his undergraduate studies at St. John's Univ. and graduated from the University of Bologna in Italy in 1954. He proudly served his Country in the US Army during WWII. Joseph practiced ophthalmology in Jamaica New York for 15 years before relocating his practice to Williston Park where he served the community for 23 years. Joseph was a long term member of the medical staff at Winthrop University Hosp. Visitation at the Weigand Bros. FH 49 Hillside Ave Williston Park NY Sat. 7-9 PM & Sun. 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Mon. 9:15 AM at Notre Dame Church in New Hyde Park. Entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cem.
