Obituary of James A Gleeson

Gleeson, James A. Died peacefully on 10/4/15 at the age of 91. Native of Dunmore, Co Galway. Korean War veteran. Proud membeer of the Irish American Society for many decades. James is predeceased by his wife, Mary, to whom he was married over 50 years. He is also predeceased by his son, James, and daughter, Nora-Marie as well as his siblings in Ireland, Mary Ellen, Patrick, and Thomas. James is survived by his son, Michael, daughter, Marylu, son-in-law, Stuart Schweid and his beloved granddaughters, Megan and Kara. He also leaves behind his sisters in Ireland, many nieces and nephews and a tremendous number of dear friends .Visitation at the Weigand Bros. FH 49 Hillside Ave Williston Park NY Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Thurs. 10 AM at St. Aidan's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HCS Alzheimer's Day Program, 999Herrick's Rd, NHP, 11040.
