Obituary of William Marangoni

Marangoni, William, a longtime resident of Williston Park, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2016, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Angelina for 67 years. Loving father of Louis (Doreen), Patricia Stefko (Steve), Theresa Notaristefano (Anthony), Lorraine Kalberer (Scott), Jane Whitenack (William), and Marie Turchiano (Michael). Cherished grandfather of 21 and great grandfather of 3. Survived by his loving siblings: Dominick, Quinto and Lucy Gilbert. William was a retired Lieutenant with The FDNY and worked at the Henry Viscardi School in Albertson. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral Mass Monday 10:00 am St Aidan's Church, 505 Willis Ave., Williston Park, NY.
