My deepest wishes and thoughts are with you Rick and family during this time. I know Bobbe was so close to you and your family. She will be greatly missed by all of you, colleagues from the hospital and us her friends near and far. Knowing her from St. Mary's those 4 years , in and out during college and then a year in Boston prior to her going back to school. She was my Birthday buddy and now know she is in good hands and at peace. Such a wonderful person with such a big heart will be missed.

I first met Barbara in approximately 1956 when we both started 1st grade at St.Aidan's School.(we graduated in June 1964) I attended Chaminade High School where I met her older brother,I remember her attending the Chaminade junior prom in June 1967 with my friend Gerard Spitz I remember her as always being very kind and cheerful but we lost touch until about 1996 when I spoke to her on the phone and entered her claim for Social Security disability benefits(I was a claims rep for Social Security for 32 years) We later became Facebook friends.I knew she was in poor health but this still comes as a shock to me. I wish I could attend the wake and/or the funeral mass but I am having surgery on Fri. Sept 16.My condolences to her family and friemds.I will keep her in my prayers. if there is anything I can do to help, please contact me by e-mail or phone(516-521-7619) I still reside in Mineola. So sorry to hear of Bobbe's death. It seems that she handled her illnesses with such grace and dignity. I have such fond memories of our school times together. She will be remembered in Billy's and my prayers. Fondly, Kathy (Keneally) Leber
