Picciano, Robert L., 82, of Williston Park, NY on December 13, 2016. Passed peacefully at home after a long illness. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Riewerts), father of Ellen (Merrill), Karen (Charlie), Susan, and 7 grandchildren. Played in the minors with the Chicago Cubs. A man of a thousand hobbies, but especially loved fishing and woodworking. Visitation at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service Saturday 3:00pm at St John's Lutheran Church, Williston Park. In lieu of flowers donations to www.rls.org or www.dav.org are appreciated.
