Hunerberg Family, Although Betty was unkown to us, we always felt her presence in the family she raised. Donald and I are the closest of friends from school days. His creative talents a beacon of inspiration for me both in music and art. I’m certain he garnered these and other beautiful human traits from Betty’s motherhood and guidance. Evan and Mariel, an extension of that same ethos both grown to become fine individuals with bright futures. Without a doubt 73 years of marriage to Ed supports my estimation that Betty lived a full life. Lived to have seen her numerous progeny succeed. Its with genuine sincerity we express our deepest condolences to the survivors. Chris &Gina

Our Mom was a wonderful person who always made us feel special and encouraged us to follow our hopes and dreams in life. She radiated happiness and love to her family but also shared her warmth and love with others in need of a friend. I would not have gone as far in life without her love and guidance during my childhood and feel very blessed to be her son. She was a very special person and the world would be a better place if more people were like Mom. I’m 71 and she still loved to tell me stories of how proud she was of the things I did growing up. Mom will always be with me in those wonderful memories. I love you Mom and will miss all those conversations we had going down memory lane and can still see your warm smile and hear your laughter. You’re Son Edward.

When my friends complained about their Mothers in Law, I always said hat I had the best Mother in Law in the whole wide world. Betty was like a real mother to me, nurturing, understanding and kind. She was there for me , on so many occasions , but I especially treasured her love and expertise when our first child , Evan was born . She took care of me and him and showed me how to put him on a schedule. ( One of the best things you can do for babies).I had no clue, but she knew! Not only was she there for Evan and Mariel at birth, she was a big part of their lives throughout; she taught them kindness, patience and unconditional love . I always felt loved and much appreciated by my special mother in law and feel very fortunate to have been part of her life. Dear Mom May you be at peace and dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
