my dear little sister Nadira, you were not only my sister but my friend and confidante my shopping and movie buddy, I took all my worries to you and you were always there to encourage me and give me advice even though you had your own pain to deal with I wished I could have taken your pain away and keep you with us, we spoke everyday by phone or email and talked about any and everything, I miss all those calls and emails and would give anything to hear your voice again, the joy we shared the laughter and fun we had every single day can never be replaced I miss you so much but I am glad that all your pain and suffering is over, may your soul rest in eternal peace, farewell dear little sis until we meet again Your beloved sister Barbara

Nadira was an amazing fighter, with a beautiful smile and an effervescent personality, a wonderful person who never gave up, and who left us too soon. Nadira, it was such a blessing to have been your coworker and friend. There are so many great memories I have of you, from talking and laughing in your office in the mornings, to the time you took me up to see the mustang on the top of the Empire State Building, and everyone standing in the 4 hour line thought you were a celebrity because you got us to skip the line and go right to the front, just to name a few. You were always such a positive, selfless, and caring person and deeply impacted the lives of those you touched. You will be greatly missed. Love, Eddy

I chatted with Nadira often, and she would always ask me about my family and my health with genuine interest and enthusiasm. She never focused on herself and her struggles. She was a very strong, wonderful woman--positive and kind. My deepest sympathy to all of her family and friends. I pray that the memories you have of her keep her light burning bright in your lives.
