Obituary of Gary J.R. Telfeyan

Telfeyan, Gary, 87, beloved husband, father and grandfather. Faithful husband of Nora for 58 years. Beloved father to Roland (Mary), and Jennifer. Blessed grandfather to Rella, Glennis, Anahid, Hasmik. Devoted uncle to Ronald (Beatrice), Douglas (Gina), Ron (Kathy), Lynda Joy, and Ward. Loved cousin to Janet (Zaven), Christine (Larry), Stephen (Conway), Daphne (Ken), Lael, Cindy (Toros), and many more cousins and relatives. He is loved by many family members and a multitude of friends. His passions were numerous, but his greatest passion was to study the Lord's Word. He reveled in Bible study, delved into higher mathematics and physics, and was the proud proprietor and owner of Telfeyan Carpets in Garden City, NY since 1955. He was the president of the Telfeyan Evangelical Fund, a family philanthropic fund. He was an active member of the Garden City Chamber of Commerce, and the Lions Club. Please join us to celebrate the blessed life of Gary Telfeyan. He is eternally with Christ and in our hearts. Visitation Friday 7 PM - 9 PM at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Stewart Ave., Garden City, NY. Funeral service Saturday 11:00 am at the church. Burial Sunday 10:30 am at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Flushing, NY.
