I want to share some pictures of my mother in law Marie Collins. I knew her son Michael Collins since 1981 and was married to him for 14 years. I know her obituary states Michael’s spouse was “Michelle”, I doubt this person even knew Marie…1980’s , the little house in East Durham , Dad peeling potatoes at the kitchen table with beer in hand, Mom making a turkey or maybe chicken a la king, and she always had some crafting, sewing things going on. And always in anticipation of the family coming up to visit, bittersweet memories. Michael and I divorced in 2002 I have always remembered her as a a truly beautiful, loving Mom and influence in my life. My own mother passed in 2017 as well.
