To all of the McCarthy family:
I've heard nothing but the best stories of Gene through Jerry and Rainey, my close friends in western MA. I met Gene just once and his kindness and gentle manner was apparent in that one meeting. His legacy to the family will be joyful memories of good times shared. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Maureen Flaherty
