Obituary of Maureen Dunn O'Keefe

Maureen Dunn O’Keefe passed away on January 3, 2018 after a long illness.  She is survived by her identical twin sister, Laureen Dunn O’Leary.   She is also survived by her children  Kelley Spada, Lori Castoria and Shawn O’Keefe and her grandchildren Prisco, Kerry Ann, Kyle,  Shannon, Charles, Conor and Caitlin.   She was a beloved wife of the late William Eugene O’Keefe.   

Born in Westminster, Massachusetts, she became a New Yorker after college at Emerson University.  Maureen lived her own life, travelling at her own pace.  She was a brilliant poet, a wonderful mother and grandmother, a funny and loyal friend.  She loved piano bars, the theatre, a good story and an infinite number of boggle games with her sister Laureen.   Her grandchildren called her “GG” which stood for Glamorous Grandma.  

Heaven just got a beautiful  new  patron at the celestial piano bar.
