Our heartfelt condolences to Fred's family and friends. Fred was my dad's best friend and it was like having another very cool uncle. He was an amazing story and joke teller and it was always exciting to hear about his travels around the world. In the last few years, Fred would come up to Toronto for New Years and it was great to see him and introduce him to our kids. Fred was a true New York original and we will all miss him so much.
Love,
Dan, Michele, Jake and Charlie Pollack

To Fred's mother, two lovely daughters, and their children -
I worked with Fred for 20 years at Tzell Travel. He was a kind colleague and an inspiration to everyone in the office. He and I had many long conversations when he stopped by my office to give me a heads up' about this or that and before long Fred would be sharing his inclusive, benevolent and loving outlook on life and how it should be lived. I've missed Fred since my retirement, and it saddens me to know he is no longer with us but one thing is for sure . . . he didn't miss a trick and enjoyed life to it's fullest.
God Bless you, Fred, till we meet again!

My condolences to the entire family. Freddy was a special person and I will really miss him.
I will miss our talks reminiscing about our time spent in Jamaica, on our spirited conversation about politics, but most of all I will miss his kindness and sense of humor.
I can see you now Freddy, sitting on the beach in Jamaica, drinking your red strip beer, singing along with Bob Marley.
Irie Mon,
One Love
