Obituary of Patricia N. Burns

Patricia Naomi, age 86, of Roslyn Heights, NY, passed away in the early hours of December 24, 2018. Beloved mother of Teresa Sagalow, Barbara Carney (Francis), Bill (Gail), and Michael (Jill). Cherished Grandma Pat to Jillian (Christopher), Stephanie, Brendan, William, Olivia, Nicholas, Juliet and Emilia. 

Born in Flushing, Queens to Ira D. Mink and Florence (Fay), Patricia was raised in College Point and graduated from Flushing High School. As a young woman, she worked for Union Carbide in Manhattan and in later years as a secretary for Garden City School District. She raised her family in New Hyde Park, NY and took great pride in her children and grandchildren, always referring to them as her “lottery.” She loved shopping, animals, Broadway shows, Christmas and being with her family. We know she is now with her loving parents, brothers, sisters and the dogs she loved. We love her and will miss her, always.
