My 2 sisters and I had to stay at the Reeks house for about 6 weeks when we were teens in high school. Tom was always very friendly to us and convinced my sister and I that we had to be Yankee fans. He certainly did a great job because she and I later on went to their ballgames and were totally obsessed with them. We entered contests and won softballs. Til this day I like the Yanks. I always connected the Yankees to Tom. He also made us laugh a lot. He had a wonderful caring way about him. I know he is totally happy now in his new home. God love him. Praying for the family they will miss him greatly

You lived next door to me in our younger years so I have a lot but the 1 time with Mr Reek n Tom we were in his fathers LTD doing about 100 on the SSP heading on the Wantagh PKY heading south to Jones Beach and we were flying Mr Reek hit the brakes n turned that wheel we landed on the left side of the median spinning all of the lawn ! Don’t no how he handled it . I would have whipped it out . Now we all no were Tom got his love of fast cars . God bless you n your family . The Toscano’s
