Obituary of Patricia Ann Murphy

Patricia Murphy of Mineola, New York (or “Tri” as she was lovingly called by her family and friends) passed away peacefully on January 4, 2021. Patricia was 66-years-old. She is fondly remembered for her courage and poise in the face of prolonged and difficult illness, her boundless compassion, her wonderful sense of humor, and her remarkably kind and warm heart. Predeceased by her father, Daniel P., Patricia is survived by her mother, Nora, sister, Peggy, brother, Patrick, and loving nephews, nieces, and cousins. A funeral mass will be held at St. Aidan’s Roman Catholic Church at 11:15 a.m. on January 7, 2021. Internment to follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood. “May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.”
