Mrs. Swendsen was my neighbor in Roslyn Heights for 24 years. I have fond memories of her and her family. I grew up with Beth Swendsen Dowd. We spent many summer days playing all kinds of games until the street lights came on and we had to head back to our homes. Those memories have lasted a lifetime. I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to Beth, Jeanie, and their families. Denise DeGonzague

Many years ago Margaret taught me a cherished and invaluable lesson of life. “Everything has a lifespan…people and things.” Cherish them for the joy they bring you while they are in your life and when the time comes let them go.
