Obituary of Catherine Collins
Catherine Collins (nee Flynn) passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the age of 93. Born in Tubbercurry, County Sligo, Ireland she has now joined her loving husband John Joseph Collins in eternity. She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings Mary, Winnie, Paddy, Mike, Ned, and Tom. Cherished mother of Mary (Ken), Margaret (Jim) and John (Gail). Adored grandmother of Michael, Patrick, John, Danny, Kristen, Matt, and Jack. Beloved great-grandmother of Reagan and Riley and an extended family of nieces and nephews in America and acoss the globe.
She was truly as inspiration to anyone who knew and loved her. She was a friend to all and she focused on her love of family and her belief and devotion in her Catholic faith. She loved her home in Park Slope Brooklyn where she was a daily worshiper at Saint Savior Roman Catholic Church and loved living her later years in Williston Park near her children. She was a daily worshiper at Saint Aidan's Roman Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Calvary Hospital.
