Obituary of John J. Vallely

John James Vallely, Jr. was born December 17, 1970 in Queens, NY and died unexpectedly on January 23, 23. John grew up in Mineola, N,  the middle child and first son of John J. Vallely, Sr. and Barbara E. Vallely. As a child he played and excelled at any sport he tried but he loved basketball the most.

He graduated from Mineola High School in 1989 and worked in the automotive field before become a journeyman for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers IBEW Local 3. He was a proud member of Local 3 for over 25 years. 

John is survived by his wife, Nonthawan (Noni) Vallely and his beloved son, Dylan, who was his pride and joy and the love of his life. John loved the Yankees for his whole life. He was happiest spending time with his son and friends. He loved vacationing with his family and especially if he was fishing.

John is survived by his father, John J. Vallely, Sr. John’s beloved mother, Barbara E. Vallely, predeceased him in 2021. They shared a special relationship and love as she was his fiercest advocate and proud mom. John is also survived by his beloved aunts Helen Sterlacci and Mary Vallely Aiello.

John is survived by his four siblings, Susan (Kevin) Goodwin, Sandi Clifford, David (Tricia) Vallely and Barbara (Michael) Lorenzo. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Kevin (Maura) Goodwin and Ryan Goodwin, Aidan Clifford, Mikey Lorenzo, Lila Vallely and Jensen Vallely.
