Today my heart is full of sorrow. We said our final goodbye to my "Big Brother", Kevin Flynn. I will always remember your kindness...The countless times you fixed my car and asked for nothing in return. I will remember your quick wit and your funny stories, your goofy laugh ...Oh, how you made me laugh! Your musical talent was amazing... You never denied me playing The Rain Song which you played beautifully and to perfection every time. The memories of just hanging out and listening to you play are precious. The love you had for your family and friends, endless. I will always be grateful for you looking after Mom & Dad. And let's not forget your love of animals... I remember you feeding so many stray cats.Your patriotism and love of our Country, unflappable. You had one of the biggest of hearts of anyone I ever knew. All these memories are just off the top of my head. There's so much more but it's hard typing through the tears. I will never forget my Big Brother and will always carry you in my heart. You will leave a huge hole in so many lives. I will always love and miss you, Big Brother

My first memory of Kevin was in the Brass Knuckles in elementary school. I was last picked for the band and Kevin was the leader. He was an amazing trumpet player ! I played third trumpet which was given to the least talented members. But Kevin always made me feel like the most important band member. He just had that way about him. Before long we were inseparable. He taught me guitar and we would sit for hours making up silly songs. He had a way of seeing music in his head. It was almost as if it was a natural hand movement to him. It flowed like his love for the meekest of us. And like the cats in his house there were no strays. You were just one of the crew. He Loved his Parents and family very much. Especially his Mom who was always there to listen. And finally when we had our fill of teenage madness we joined the Navy together. We had hoped to serve together but it was not to be. Shortly after returning from the service our lives again headed in different directions. He decided to marry and I was his best man at he and Linda's wedding. He had become a man, father and husband. After that he devoted all his time to his family and soon after I left for Georgia. But no matter the distance, or the time that separated our friendship there was no loss of Love. He was my brother! We lived, loved and laughed a lifetimes worth. I am crushed I cannot attend the service. I so much wanted to hug the girls and Linda. I am sorry I cannot be there for you all. I pray each day for your solace. And to my brother Kevin, Until we ride again (Ice riders) I will continue to carry your love in my heart. My deepest condolences to all who loved him . Robert Luecke

Linda & the girls, Chris, Brian, Eddie & Danny- my deepest condolences to you all. Such a great loss. Kevin was the type of person who always managed to get a smile out of someone no matter the situation. It is a gift that transcends the veil & I know he will continue to make us smile when whenever we think of him. I pray your hearts & thoughts are filled with happy memories that will help bring you through this difficult time.
My friend Kevin - I thank you for the many times in our youth when you took the role of big brother or knight in shining armor - looking out for me, coming to my rescue, & never making me feel stupid. Rest easy my friend & pray for us.
-tammy (Hildebrand)
