Lucy was always so welcoming to me whenever I would visit her daughter, my beautiful friend Michelle. I am glad I was able to be a part of some special moments with Lucy, such as watching Michelle try on her wedding dress for the last time before her wedding. I will always remember that moment, and I will always remember how loved she was.

We are so very grateful that we had the privilege to know you Lucy!
You welcomed our daughter and all of us with open arms and heart. We felt part of the family since the first time we met you. We are very thankful that you made us part of every celebration since then.
I am sharing this picture that I took just a few days ago, when Frankie and Villy started their formal journey together by signing the wedding application.
I am grateful that we spend the day together and share this moment.
You will be forever in our hearts.

It is with such a heavy heart I write about our dear friend Lucy. We have been School Moms together, Camping Moms together, Boy Scouts Moms together, but my favorite memories of Lucy and Frank were when we were Wrestling Moms and Dads together. Lucy~such a devoted Mother. Her every breath was filled with love and pride of her beautiful family. They were her world and still her from heaven above. My favorite story Lucy would always share was when her and Frank decided to take the family cross-country. Every time she would tell the story with such animation, it would make me laugh uncontrollably. Lucy--a great story teller. I will miss her laugh, her smile, her caring ways, her friendship. Few truly special people enter our lives and make such an impact as strong as Lucy did to mine. It is an honor to call her my friend. I will miss her terribly.

One of the first memorable moments I have of Lucy was at Knickerson Beach, 90’s. I believe Kathy Kelty was with us. Well…the kids were collecting jellyfish and young Frankie was using his Mom’s styro cooler for jellyfish storage and plenty of sand. Frankie wanted to bring the collection home; Lucy agreed.
I’ll never forget Lucy’s patience and devotion to her son. She was a wonderful example of a great Mom, and I’ll always remember her fine qualities. Gonna miss her but never forget her.

I write this with a broken but grateful heart. For as long as I can remember, Lucy was always there. From visits to our Pennsylvania home to me in hers in Williston Park, seeing Lucy was always the highlight of my childhood. Lucy had this way about her...this gift. Whomever she was with, she made to feel like the most important person to her. She always made me feel loved, accepted and normal even though I was anything but. Lucy lived to take care of and help everyone else, especially her family whom she loved so much. She was selfless, loving, nurturing, tolerant, with endless patience. In my adulthood, especially after my mom's passing, Lucy was the ever present supporter and encourager. She took the time to send loving and encouraging comments on Facebook posts, and not just for me, for everyone. She was always there to lend an ear, to give advice, or to just listen. She was the best of what humanity has to offer, and I cannot imagine a world without her in it. I can hear her voice in my head, calling me sweetheart as she always did. She was insightful, funny, warm and just made everyone feel good. What a tremendous loss. I feel so honoured and grateful to have had her in my life, and truly believe I'm a better person for it. To a phenomenal person...you will forever be missed and loved and celebrated. Thank you for all the time, love and support you've given me over the years. You will be with me always. Love forever, Nina Sullivan.

Gary and I were greatly shocked and deeply saddened to learn about the sudden passing of our dear friend, Lucy. We recently spent two evenings with her and Frank and are grateful to have been able to do so. Lucy looked more radiant than ever the last time we saw her. She was always such a beacon of light with her beautiful smile, glowing eyes, and her heart of gold. Lucy was always eager to participate in all events, and she brought laughter, love and words of wisdom to every occasion. She was such a caring, kind person who made time for everyone. She was a great listener, a comforter, a hugger, and simply one of the best friends anyone could every ask for. Lucy was so proud of all her children and their families. She frequently shared stories and photos of her lovely grandchildren. Lucy was also a very spiritual person who loved and accepted all people for who they were and often spread the message of God's word, living by his example. While she will be missed by everyone who knew her, she is surely now with her maker, surrounded by beauty, love, and peace. It is our belief that while Lucy is in another realm, she will continue to be watching over her family and friends from afar.
We love you, Lucy and will one day see you again. Until then, we carry you in our hearts and will try to live by your words and actions. We feel we are both better people from having known you. Thank you for being you! May you rest in peace!
