Obituary of Ann Jensen

Our beloved Ann Linda Reder Jensen of Jupiter, FL, passed on May 25, 2023, with family and friends by her side. Her loss is deeply felt by her children: Cori Vanchieri (husband Alan Haeberle), Stacie Vanchieri, and Bill Jensen (wife Kendall), and her grandchildren: Zoe, Will, Lily, Claire, Grayson and Logan plus great grandkids: Valencia, Kyrene and a third on the way, as well as her sister Rosemary Reder and dog Jojo. She raised her family first, then earned a master's degree in education and became a guidance counselor at West Hempstead High School, where she loved getting her 'kids' into college. A horse lover, she taught large animal care at Nassau BOCES and worked with the veterinarians at Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course. She sang with the Mellow Wives in Webster, NY, made jewelry and above all, loved to laugh. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Jensen and parents Frances and Louis Reder and sister Gale Anziano. A memorial service will be held on August 12, 2023 at Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park, New York.
