Obituary of Virginia R. Kinahan
Virginia Rosemary Kinahan a devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away at home on November 19, 2023.
She was the devoted wife of John for 48 years. She is survived by her adored daughter Jennifer, son in law Franco Capogna, loving sister Carol Keating, brother Michael (Denise) Tocicki and her cherished grandchildren Jonfranco and Gabriella.
Ginger was born in the Bronx, New York to Virginia and Adam Tocicki. She was raised in Sunnyside Queens. Ginger attended Queen of Angels Grammar School and Saint Vincent Ferrer High School. She worked as an administrative assistant for over 50 years for Fish and Neave, King and Spalding LPP and Reynolds, Caronia, Gianelli and La Pinta P.C.
She is predeceased in death by brothers in law Jeremiah Keating and Raymond Kinahan and sister-in-law Rita and husband Joe Bellavance.
Ginger loved nothing more than watching her grandchildren Jonfranco and Gabriella. She enjoyed watching Jonfranco play baseball and lacrosse. She loved watching Gabriella swim and play the flute.
Ginger was a loving godmother to Rosemary Murphy and Jeremiah Keating. She was a wonderful Mother, Aunt, Niece and Friend to all.
Ginger was a selfless and generous person who always put others ahead of herself. She never missed any important events in her families lives. She lived each day to the fullest and had a special talent of making everyone feel loved and important. She made all around her better people for knowing her. She will be greatly missed, never forgotten and always loved.
