The Santarpia family would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the Servedio family. It was great to see Vinny at my father's 80th Birthday party in 2021. He was still quoting lines from The Honeymooners which was great to see. Vinny always made my father laugh. I'll always have fond memories of him at the Columbia Association gatherings. Rest In Peace Vinny.

To Vinny's Family, I am truly and deeply sorrow for your loss.
I met Vinny through my late husband, Tony. They worked together in Law Enforcement and St. Francis Hospital. He was a tremendous support to me during my husband's illness and passing. He and I remained friends and often got together to reminisce about him and his Marion. He was a true patriot and a loyal veteran, thanking him many times for his service. I remember all the bowling dinners and laughs we shared together and how we talked about our families and our fig trees of course. We were also Levittown neighbors. He had an infectious smile and great heart.I will remember him always. May God keep you in his loving arms in peace.

I met Vinny when I worked in District 1. He was always the one to cheer you up when you were down. He always remembered your name. I would see photos of reunions and such. Vinnie would always be there. He was a stand up guy who cared for the people he worked with If you were o the job he considered it working with him. My heart and prayers go out to the Servidio family. We all share in the loss of a fine gentleman and brother.

The Executive Board and members of the NYC Retired Transit Police Officers Association offer our deepest condolences and sympathies to the Servedio family. Vinny was a Lifetime Member of the association and always made it a point to attend our meetings along with his enjoyment of having his retirees' luncheons known as the ROMEO's (Retired Old Men Eating Out) and later changed to add the 'Juliets' for the wives. He was a good cop and President of the Transit Police Columbian Society and later on, in the Security Department at St. Francis Hospital the Heart Center, where he worked with many of his fellow Transit Police retirees where I had the honor and pleasure of working with him. He will be missed by so many who knew or worked with Vinny, a "Legend" in the department. May he Rest in Peace.
