Beverly and I became inseparable friends in the 70's when we both lived in Los Angeles, and I was sorry to have lost touch with her when we both moved away and thrilled to reconnect. Of all the experiences that shape people over decades, the shining "accomplishment" of Bev's life was clearly marrying Tom. Her voice "shone" when she talked about him, even as he grew ill, and I wish I had the chance to meet the man she loves so much. To his loved ones, family and friends, you're all in my prayers and I trust God to hold you tight so you can lift up one another. God bless you, and bring you comfort and peace.

I will always remember Tom as a loving husband and good friend. He always had something funny to say. I called him Tommy-O and he called me DeFalco. I will miss the card games, Mets games and all the other times we spent together. It just won't be the same now. Goodbye my friend.

Dee has been my friend since the age of 5. Whenever I went over there, I use to think Tom (Butchie as we knew him) was so handsome but I was usually afraid of him because he was rough with Dee. Knowing him at an older age of course, I thought he was real nice guy. May he rest in peace.

Dearest Friend,
You did not know me, but I worked with both your wife Beverly and your sister-in-law Debbie for some years.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
May you rest in peace.
