So many great memories of my Great Aunt Fran. When I was a kid, my family would visit her and her late Sister Anita and it was always Good times. She was a bundle of energy all the time and always had snacks and coffee ready to serve. Her home was always emmaculate and inviting, with her velvet antique furniture. She wasn't a tall woman and I remember when I not even a teen ager and I was actually the same height. She was the funniest witty little lady. As a kid, I was never bored to go visit. Most kids would usually not look forward to visiting an Older relative, but that was never the way with her. As an adult I, unfortunately, lived to far away to have many visits. For the last 2 years I kept procrastinating and never got the chance to see her before she passed. My last great memory of her was her having a picture taken at the Russo Family Reunion with a Watermelon held high above her head while she proudly said she was a strong old lady. Her face lit up with delight, (like always) and I'll always remember her that way. She will always have a special place in my heart and memories. Can't wait to see her again in Heaven.
