DAR introduced me to Betty and we had many "adventures' doing DAR work. Betty used the phrase "perfecto mundo" and that is how she approached each task she undertook....to make it perfect! Her hands were always busy knitting, crocheting, making jewelry, etc. Her Christian faith was most important to her and she showed it in her generosity and her many visits to friends and neighbors when they were ill or grieving. Her bigest accomplishment - raising her family - brought her much, much joy. She was deeply proud of each one, and they must be proud of her. She will leave an empty place in the lives of many of us, but there are lots of Betty memories to make us glad we knew her.
