Obituary of Virginia L Chester

Virginia Louise Chester, ne Williamson, of Old Westbury, New York passed to the Lord in the early morning of July 19th. She was 96. "Ginny," as her friends and family knew her, was a beloved mother to Robert and his wife Jovan, as well as a dear grandmother to Alexander and Robert. She also had great love for her three nieces-Sharon, Virginia Lee, and Judy. Ginny was known for her sense of humor, her quick wit, and her love of animals. Ginny was very involved in the community as well, serving as past President of the Trustees of the Community Church of East Williston, and past Presidents of the Norgate Garden Club, the Glen Garden Club, and the Williston AARP Chapter. Ginny will be sorely missed, but has left many happy memories with everyone she touched. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 28th at 10 a.m. at the Community Church of East Williston, followed by a reception at her house.
