James C. Mason, 82, of Bellerose, NY, died Tuesday in the Amsterdam Tuttle Center, Port Washington, NY. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late JAMES and the late JULIA (DOLAN) MASON. He served during Korean War in the Army from 8/8/1951 to 7/23/1953. Mr. Mason was a Lieutenant in the NYC Fire Dept. Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at St. Gregory The Great Church, at 9:45 AM Bellerose .Interment will be Saturday in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn.
