I could write a book about Marie Callahan...she was my role model. Thank you Marie for showing us what a kind, gentle, sweet Catholic should be. You showed us love, love as a mother because you were always telling us about your beautiful family, how proud you were of each of them. You showed us love, love of friends-we were friends for 60 years and you always made me feel special. Love of community, always helping out at church, always being involved..lector, singing, praying helping, guiding, encouraging. I love to sing, (Im not good at lt) you had the voice of an angel. (you forget the words)...so...you told me to always sit in the first row and mouth the words to you...I felt like a million dollars...I was singing but not really. God gave you so many gifts and talents...and you used them beautifully...you had such good sense about you...common sense...you were a fabulous addition to every Board that you sat on...we were blessed to have you in our lives...and to think your hair stayed dark through all the years...rest in peace dear friend...
May the road rise to meet you, Until we meet again... .

My grandmother holding her first great grandchild, Julia. This is the expression I most associate with my grandmother. She was full of love and was the epitome of the perfect grandma. She always made the children around her feel special and adored.

Dear Lovely, wonderful Marie. Will miss you, we go back to the 60's.You were on the 1st Rosary Board, I was on. We were in shows for Rosary together, always that beautiful voice. Of late, my co-chair on the Board. Many years, many wonderful memories.
The Angels have another voice to sing with them.
God Bless You always,
Morgan & Carol O'Brien
